Materials: pp plastic is polypropylene
Polypropylene is a thermoplastic resin polymerization of propylene. Usually it is translucent and colorless solid which are innocuous and non-odorous .Because of the well-defined structures and high crystallization, the melting point can be up to 167 ℃. Heat resistance, corrosion resistance,the outstanding advantage is available for steam sterilisation. Low density, it is the lightest common plastic.
Physical properties: Polypropylene is innocuous ,non-odorous and tasteless which are the Ivory polymer with high crystallinity,what’more, The Density just is 0.90--0.91g/cm³that is one of the lightest plastic. It is special stable to the water,Water absorption rate is 0.01% in the water.
The Molecular weight is about 80 thousand-150 thousand,and has good formability .Because of the big Shrinkage rate(about 1%~2.5%),the product which is thick-walled easy to sunken,it’s hard to reach the requirement to the High dimensional accuracy parts.the surface of it has good gloss and easy to coloring.
Mechanical properties: The crystallinity of polypropylene is very high and the structures is neat.therefore it has excellent mechanical properties. polypropylene’mechanical properties in absolute terms higher than polyethylene, but it is still are on the low side in the plastic, the tensile strength of it can be up to 30Mpa or a
slightly higher level Isotactic index polypropylene has a high tensile strength, but with the increase of isotactic index ,the impact strength of materials has declined, however, dropped to a value when it is no longer changes. Temperature and loading rate on toughness of polypropylene have a very large effects. When the temperature is higher than the glass transition temperature, the impact will damage ductile fracture, but when it is below the glass transition temperature, it will brittle fracture and the impact strength values will fall significantly.Improved
loading speed which can make the transformation from ductile fracture to brittle fracture with the rise of temperature . Polypropylene has excellent flexural fatigue resistance and they can be bent 106 times at room temperature without damage.
At room temperature and low temperature, because their molecular structure is regularity high, so the anti-impact is poor, most outstanding properties of it is bending fatigue resistance, commonly known as100 off plastic.
Themal properties: Polypropylene has good heat resistance, the product can be disinfected at the temperature more than 100 °c . in conditions of no outside, 150 ° c will without distortion, Embrittlement occurs below-35 ° c, it means that when the temperature lower than -35°c,it will be embrittlement, the cold resistance is lower than polyethylene. For glass transition temperature of polypropylene coverage refer to -18qc, 0qc, 5 °c, which is due to people using different sample, and it contains the crystalline and amorphous phases of different proportions,
amorphous sections chain length due to different molecular chains. Polypropylene melt temperature increase about 40 ℃-50 ℃ compare to polyethylene, it is about 164-170, 100% tacticity polypropylene melt point is 176 ℃.
Chemical stability: The chemical stability of Polypropylene is very good, except thick sulfuric acid, thick nitric acid erosion, to other chemical reagents ,it also compared stable, but to the low molecular volume of fat hydrocarbon, aromatic and chloride hydrocarbon,it can makes polypropylene softening and dissolved expansion, while the chemical stability will also improve with the increased of Crystal degrees, so polypropylene can be applies to various chemical pipeline and accessories, and anti-corrosion is very good.
Electrical preperties: Having a high dielectric constant, and with the rise of temperature, it can be used as heat insulation products. It also has a high Breakdown voltage,suitable for use as electrical accessories. Voltage resistance, good arc resistance, but the static electricity is high, easy aging contact with the copper .

Polypropylene has many excellent features:
