Another innovation of mpu-3000 is that it integrates the second I2C interface to link the external accelerator to the DMP. This mechanism enables the DMP to receive the output of the integrated gyroscope and accelerator, execute the six axis multiple sensing component fusion algorithm technology, and then output it to the mobile application processor with quaternion, so as to reduce the load brought to the host by sensor time synchronization and fusion calculus. Other features of mpu-3000 include internal frequency output, built-in temperature sensor, programmable interrupt (initerrupt), and fsync mechanism that can synchronize image, video and GPS data with the sensor.
As for the elasticity of power supply, in addition to the analog power supply pin, the independent VLOGIC reference pin of mpu-3000 can be used to set the logic level of I2C. The voltage range of VLOGIC can be as low as 1.71v to as high as VDD.
